Mr. Red Saturday Tips

A 7/1 ACCA and 3/1 BTTS Treble both landing meant last Saturday was a successful end to the international break. I hope some of you got on or landed your own winners, now the aim this week is not to return those winnings to the bookies and increase that profit. The internationals for once threw up quite a few surprising results, but not even Mr Blue’s hangover could be used as an excuse for his backing of a Swindon side who lost 4-1 at home to Barnet, in what was probably the most impressive score line in the football league last week.

Onto this weekend and with the Premier League and Championship returning there looks to be some great value around for punters. Below we have a selection of suggested bets dependant on how much risk you’d like to take.

Leeds, Wolves, Fleetwood – 7/2

Leeds (4/7) haven’t really kicked on at home yet with 2 draws but should pick up their first home win when they welcome Burton to Elland Road. The Brewers once again will do well to survive this term and have lost their 2 away games so far. Wolves (3/4) welcome a Millwall side who haven’t scored on the road thus far. After their big spending in the summer the Wanderers should have too much firepower and collect the 3 points. We complete the treble with Fleetwood who have 2 wins from 2 at home without conceding a goal. Opponents Oldham look in tire trouble, even at this early stage, after losing all 5 of their matches so far.

Wolves, Charlton, Fleetwood, Notts County – 9/1

Charlton have made a solid start to life in League 1 winning 4 from 5 and at odds of 13/10 look good value at home to Southend. In League 2 Notts County (7/11), a side I fancy for at least a play-off spot, haven’t lost in 5. Here they welcome Morecambe who haven’t won in 5 and have picked up 5 points so far this season.

Leeds, Oxford, Coventry, Wrexham – 10/1

Oxford (8/13) are Mr. Blues tip for promotion out of league 1 and have made a solid start collecting 8 points from 5 fixtures. Gillingham travel to the Kassam stadium having not won so far this term. In the National League odds of 6/4 look generous for a Wrexham side who have 15 points from 8 fixtures and sit third so far. They travel to Torquay who have 2 points and have conceded 20 goals in the process.

Leeds, Wolves, Fleetwood, Oxford, Charlton, Wrexham – 40/1

Leeds, Wolves, Fleetwood, Charlton, Oxford, Notts County, Coventry, Wrexham – 113/1

Reading v Bristol City, Mansfield v Grimsby, Chester v Ebbsfleet – 4/1

QPR v Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday v Notts Forest (KO 17:30), Bristol Rovers v Walsall, Accrington v Carlisle, Newport v Wycombe, Boreham Wood v Leyton Orient – 22/1

Bristol Rovers, Aberdeen, St Mirren, Bayern Munich – 124/1
